Established by Estelle Jacobs and Harry Lowe, the real estate firm Jacobs and Lowe has made history even from its beginnings in the early 1900s with Estelle Jacobs being Victoria’s first female valuer. Mornington is a popular seaside town, situated on Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula, fronting Port Phillip Bay.
Mornington has a long history dating back to 1802 when explorer Matthew Flinders landed at Schnapper Point.  Today, Schnapper Point provides a boat launching ramp, jetty, yacht club, restaurant and scenic walks providing good views along the coast.

Mornington has a number of attractive beaches, some of which are located at the base of rocky cliffs which dominate part of the coastline in this area. The town centre is modern and attractive, yet has retained its historic maritime flavour, with Main Street lined by speciality shops and cafes and restaurants offering outdoor dining. A traditional street market is held in Main Street each Wednesday and is the longest running street market in Victoria (21 years). The annual Mornington Food, Wine & Performing Arts Festival is a highlight of the year.

Other attractions include the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, the Briars historic homestead, the Old Post Office Museum and the Mornington Tourist Railway which offers steam train rides.
